Description

Mechatronic Systems's P20/P40 are flexible solutions for small and medium value series in the SMT-production.
P20/P40 were designed for assignments with claim for quick change of products, operating simplicity and reliability.
Because of adjustable speed profiles, the centering "on-the-fly" and the integrated nozzle changer achieves P20/P40 a real placing rate of 2.800 c/h with the placement accuracy of ±90µm. This accuracy can be increased to ±25µm by using optional incremental encoders.
Adjustable clamping for fixing the workpieces, automatical nozzle changer and flexible feeder devices allow quick setup of the system. Easily interchangeable tape feeder sets can go simultaneously into action to produce highly integrated and huge PCB's.
The feeders are electronically interfaced for easy programming and use. Taped, stick, waffle tray and loose components from 0402 to PLCC84 as well as SOICs, QFPs and BGAs are accepted.
The built-in vision system allows straightforward teach-in, optical component inspection and requires minimal operator training. Its gray scale vision software provides automatic fiducial correction and bad mark recognition.
P20/P40 is equipped with complete self-diagnostics and error recognition system. The high placement accuracy and reliability results from the precision placement head design with closed-loop stepper logic. The picking and placing survey bases on vacuum sensors.
An adhesive pin transfer system allows glue dots to be applied prior to component placement. For components with mechanically sensitive pins a special low-force centering system can be supplied.
For the best performance applications the placement accuracy can be increased by using incremental encoders.
The available CAD - editor is an aid software for all current CAD - systems and shorts the programming effort importantly.
The Mechatronic systems's auxiliary service: installation, training, support and the technology transfer is included in delivery (EXW).
